Disclaimer: I don't own Annie
"I am having such a good time I never want this to end," Pepper said.
"What if it doesn't have to," Kate suggested.
Annie smiled knowing exactly what Kate was getting at.
"I don't think he'd go for it though. Including Annie we're seven altogether," Tessie said.
"Great," Pepper smirked, "You can do basic math. Do you know your ABCs too."
Instead of chastising Pepper like she normally would Annie said, "Well it couldn't hurt to ask him. I mean the worst he could say is no."
"But then we wouldn't get it," Molly said.
Duffy, the oldest interjected, "We don't have it now."
"Exactly," Annie said, "We can't lose it cause we don't have it and I don't think he'll say no."
Daddy Warbucks entered the room.
"So kids," he said, "How did we enjoy the party?"
"It was great Mr. Daddy Warbucks sir," Molly said..
"Well before the party ends I have one last gift for all of you. Annie told me how close you girls are. She said you were like her sisters. So I thought why not? I already have Annie. What can six more hurt?"
"You mean you're dopting us all," Molly cried excitedly.
"Yes Molly," Warbuck said winking a Annie, "I am 'dopting' you all
Annie had asked him to last night. He could never say no to his Annie. She meant more to him then anything. Besides he wasn't spoiling her. He wanted to do it anyway.
Yeah right. He wasn't spoiling her. Every child had the life that Annie had. But he couldn't help it. She taught him to be a gentle person. She taught him to love. Besides a little spoiling would do her no harm.
