I do not own Harry Potter. JKR does.
Skeletons
That's what my entire last name means. Bones. Remains. The skeletons left behind.
We were once respected and viewed as powerful wizards and witches, but we Bones are humble and modest. I am not ignorant to the fact people make fun of Hufflepuff; they call us the outcasts, the leftovers and the pushovers. How is loyalty and hard work a bad trait? My uncle died a brave man, and he was a Hufflepuff. His wife was a Muggle. Their children, I'll never know.
Aunt Amelia was a fair and reasonable woman. I was even named after her. I couldn't be more honored by my namesake. She was a brave and powerful witch who put up one of the greatest duels against Lord Voldemort, and she was a Hufflepuff. I'm proud of my auntie.
I lost an uncle, two aunts and three cousins in two Wizarding Wars. Where's Susan Bones, the girl who lost a third of her family?
I guess the name's too long for a newspaper article.
