Hmm… this story has been on my mind for a while and I've got writers block.
Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom. Adrianna is mine.
Prologue
Relations
Vlad Masters was not normally a morning person. If he had the choice, he would stay in bed until well past noon. So when he woke up with a bad headache, he blamed the obviously early hour.
But, besides the sun being directly on his face, the first thing he noticed was that he was not in his own bed. Confused, he opened his eyes to find he definitely wasn't in any familiar place. Then it hit him. The accident must've put him in the hospital.
"Looks like you're finally up."
Vlad's eyes darted over to his sister. Adrianna, although two years younger and a sophomore at Wisconsin University, looked remarkably like her brother. Her hair was naturally straight, hanging to her mid-back, navy eyes steady. Both siblings were built like swimmers, lean and muscular. The only main difference was her face, her cheekbones were slightly higher and her narrow jaw line gave her a heart-shaped face.
"Maddie," he croaked, voice hoarse from lack of usage.
"She's just fine. You were the only one that was hit."
Vlad took a moment to process the information. What exactly had happened that day? And for that matter, what was today's date?
He remembered working on the Ghost Portal. He'd known it wasn't ready for testing, Maddie had also known. In fact, she'd tried to stop Jack from starting it.
Jack Fenton. Anger rose up. Jack had always been his best friend. But did best friends steal the love of your life and put you in the hospital? No, they did not.
"Vlad?"
He looked up to his sister, eyes questioning.
"What exactly was in the beam that hit you?"
Vlad thought about that for a minute. To tell the truth, he wasn't really sure. Instead he said, "Why?"
Adrianna blinked. "Because your eyes turned red just now."
Okay, so it's just after the accident. Vlad passed out from the ecto-energy and he's waking up in the hospital.
Obviously, his sister is of my creation. You'll learn more about her during the story.
Read and Review,
