Knuckles had finally snapped. Eggman had tricked him into giving him the Master Emerald for the last time. Sonic had made a joke about Knuckles one too many times. Tails confused Knuckles for far too long. Even Amy, mistaking Knuckles for Sonic, grabbing him from behind, put too much strain on the guardian's sanity. So he killed her. He turned around, and just snapped her neck. Eggman showed up in his little flying pod to try and apologize to Knuckles for his many misdeeds. Knuckles threw a rock into the engine, causing it to explode, killing the fat man instantly. Tails had come by to ask where Amy was, if Knuckles had seen her. Knuckles took a shard of stone and forced it through Tails' skull. Sonic had been fast. But not fast enough. He let his guard down long enough for Knuckles to punch him in the face, cracking his skull. Sonic had used the last of his life trying to warn Shadow. Shadow, upon finding Sonic's bloody corpse on his doorstep, and seeing Knuckles running at him with a rock, did the most sensible thing he could have done. He pulled out an AK-47 and blew Knuckles to pieces. He then proceeded to make himself a cup of coffee and turn on the tv.
