Whoo, more RP meanwhiles stuffs! Unlike the last one I'm pretty sure I never posted due to the fact it would scar a good number of people, this one is better and really sweet..or at least I hope you think it is. This will focus on Hound and Mirage because I've really grown to love these two. First time writing Mirage so I hope he doesn't get OOC.
He couldn't believe it. It didn't just happen. It couldn't have. His father had just disowned him. Why? Because he was in love. Not a very good reason to be honest. Mirage just stared at the energon cube in his hands as all these thoughts ran through his head.
Nothing's changed. All these vorns and his father hadn't changed at all. Perhaps he really was hoping for too much.
"Mirage?"
Pulled from his thoughts, Mirage looked up at Hound who had been sitting across from him at the table. Hound had seen the whole thing, this moment adding to the list of times he was glad Hound was there. Right now, Hound was concerned.
"Are you going to be alright?"
Mirage looked back down for a moment, "I don't know, hound. I had hoped, after so long he might have changed at least a little bit…granted I hadn't even known he was alive...but.."
He trailed off at the end. He must have been foolish to think anything would have changed. His father never approved of the lower caste bots. That's why he disapproved of Mirage's feelings for Hound. He was pulled from his thoughts again when Hound spoke up.
"Aw, come on, 'Raj. Like I said, whatever happens, I'm still here. I promise you that won't change."
Mirage sighed and shook his head slightly, "Can you truly make that promise, Hound? We're still at war. We can turn around to find someone else gone. I wouldn't even be here had it not been for the Matrix."
Hound was silent for a moment, he didn't want to be reminded of the fact that Mirage had been offline for the better part of fourteen vorns. Mirage seemed to realize mentioning that had been a mistake.
"Forgive me, Hound..I didn't-"
He was cut off as Hound rose from his seat and walked around the table, cupping Mirage's face in his hands.
"Maybe we're still at war and one of us could be taken offline at any moment on the battlefield, but I can promise to be there..even if the war separates us again. I'll wait for you like I did the past fourteen vorns."
Mirage still found it hard to believe that Hound had waited that long when he could have easily found someone else. He fought back the tears threatening to build in his optics as he lifted his own hand to Hound's.
"Fourteen vorns…and you stayed loyal..."
Hound smiled, "Like I said, I didn't want anyone else…I love you Mirage."
Then their lips met in a kiss. Mirage didn't care what was proper anymore at that moment as his arms wrapped around Hound's neck and he stopped holding back the tears. He was nearly melting into the kiss and when Hound pulled him closer, her broke the kiss to lay his head on Hound's chest.
When it came to Hound, he didn't care if he was lower caste. They said love knows no boundaries after all. What his father thought didn't matter anymore. All that mattered now was Hound.
