Disclaimer: I don't own Tale of Two Cities
To my Little One,
Your mother and I had always hoped you would never know sorrow. We had always hoped you would never know pain. We had always hoped you would never know fear. We knew that was not realistic but as a parent all you want is what is best for your child. Baby girl I wish I could be there to dry your eyes when you cry. I wish I could hold you to me and ease the pain when you hurt. I wish I could be there to teach you the difference between right and wrong and guide you into adulthood with outstretched arms. Even though I will no longer be here in flesh my spirit is watching you from up above. Always remember this little one. I love you. I will be there with you throughout all of your trials and hardships. I will be there for you through the good and the bad. Always look towards the sun to know that I am there. Whenever you see a rainbow that's daddy smiling down at happiest day of my life was the day that you were born. Being a parent has shown me so much. It showed me to love without condition. I thought I could never love anyone as much as I love your mother and while I do love her to the depths of my soul I love you just a little bit more. Your the best thing that ever happened to me and I will always be looking down from heaven with outstretched arms of love. We WILL be together again one day. I promise you sweet girl.
All my love forever and always
Daddy
