He didn't want him to go. No, that's not true. He didn't want Merlin to go with out him. Yes, that's right. He watched him go, go on the back of his horse with one of his knights taking him home. Damn, how he wanted to forsake this stupid quest, to forget all about it! Merlin was sick because of him, again. He had risked his scrawny neck, again. He might die, only this time it may be true in the fact.

He wanted to be the one that brought Merlin home. Not because Merlin had done what he did and Arthur had to pay him back, not because of a past deeds, but because they were friends.

Therefore, when Merlin disappeared out of sight and the others turned to go. He had a hard time holding back tears of despair and resentment. He felt that possibly, he just may lose his friends and the thought of that tore him up.
