Why Her?
Hi! I'm Tenshi 'Gome. I'm new here, but please give your full support. So, R & R!
Destiny.
It was the one word that Kikyou hated. Detested, in fact.
Why her?
It controlled her. She remembered how she secretly listened as her reincarnation motivated the Inu-tachi about how everyone had a choice. Hn, if she had a choice she wouldn't have had to die, if she had a choice she would have started a family with Inuyasha, a little boy named Hikaru and a girl named…Kagome. Inuyasha…her clay eyes slightly dimmed. He was the only one who could do that, make her sad and emotional. In a way, she guessed he was her prince charming, excluding the foul words and horrible body-language. However, she wouldn't admit this, but she was afraid. Of him. She loved him, she really did, but she couldn't accept his demon side. She was the purest of beings, a miko for goodness sake. It was so scary, so…evil. Though she didn't like his demon side, she liked his human. He was beautiful inside and out, he made her blush and feel. Deep in her heart, she felt guilty, she didn't accept him. Like everyone else. Until her reinca- no Kagome came. She was perfect, she loved both sides. She was pretty as well and oh-so-kind. That was probably the plus side of being a reincarnation, you get to change what you incarnation lacked.
So, sitting on a cloudless night, Kikyou guessed she could hand Inuyasha to Kagome. She looked down, maybe destiny was not that bad, and after all it taught her things. Like the difference between like and love. Finally, she felt peaceful as she listened to Kagome's voice.
"…So, destiny is like a school teacher (I told you what they are, right?). Mean and stoic on the outside, but on the inside they mean well."
Thanks!
TG (R &R, please). I know it is short, but please go easy on me.
