Kakashi sat up in bed and looked out the window. He wanted to be with him, to feel his soft warm hands rest in his. He wanted to touch his soft cheek, and feel his breath on his shoulder. He wanted to be with Iruka. Of course, Iruka was not thinking the same thing. In fact, Iruka was mad at Kakashi. That day, he had seen Kakashi chasing Naruto around the training grounds. He was obviously drunk and wouldn't leave Naruto alone. Iruka had to step in and stop Kakashi from going crazy. Kakashi was ready to kill Naruto and had pulled a kunai on him. That's where Iruka drew the line. Kakashi got out of bed and got dressed. With his hands stuffed into his pockets, he walked to Iruka's apartment. Outside Iruka's window, Kakashi looked up. There were no lights on in the room, but the window was open. "Iruka." called Kakashi as he started to climb up the wall. Iruka, startled by his name being called, jumped out of bed. "Who's there?" he asked as he quietly pulled out a kunai. "It's me, Kakashi." said Kakashi. Iruka slid the kunai back into his sack and sat down on the bed. He let out a long sigh as Kakashi showed up on his balcony. "Go away. I don't want to talk to you." he said softly. "I just want to talk." whispered Kakashi. He started to step into the room when a shuriken landed in front of his foot. "I'm warning you now, get out!" said Iruka. His voice wasn't pleasant. It was strict and sharp. "Iruka…please!" shouted Kakashi. "I want to talk." "Well I don't." Iruka shouted as he stood up. This time, he pulled his kunai back out of his sack and walked up to Kakashi. "Get out, or I'll stab you." he explained. "But-" Iruka jabbed his kunai into Kakashi's side. Kakashi let out a short yelp as Iruka pulled it out. "Get Out!" he shouted. Kakashi grabbed Iruka's wrists and pushed him against the wall. He kissed him gently and Iruka dropped the kunai. It landed on the floor, making a noise that could have very well woken everyone in the building up. Iruka's eyes were wide open, and he wouldn't stop shaking. He looked down at where he'd stabbed Kakashi. It hurt to see him bleed so badly. Kakashi let go of Iruka's shaking hands to see his own hands shaking as well. The blood that he was losing was not good. He stumbled onto the bed with a shocked expression on his face. Iruka rushed to get some bandages from his closet. He helped Kakashi sit up and in silence wrapped the bandage around his waist. For a while, it was quiet but Kakashi broke the peace. "I'm sorry." he whispered. "Shut up, I'm trying to do this correctly." mumbled Iruka. He was still pretty upset. When he finished fixing up Kakashi he stood up. "You will sleep on my couch, and in the morning you will leave. Got it?" Kakashi nodded, not sure if now was the time to argue. He walked over to the couch and laid down. He was tired, and losing the blood didn't help at all. Iruka tried to fall asleep, but he couldn't. All he could think about was Kakashi. Around 12 o'clock in the morning, Iruka went and carried Kakashi to his bed. He laid him down gently and they both fell asleep. In the morning, Iruka woke up right as Kakashi was getting up to leave. "Don't go." said a very sleepy Iruka. "Alright." whispered Kakashi as he slipped back under the covers. They both drifted back to sleep knowing that they were officially friends again and that they would never fight again.
