Now this idea came from the movie Prince of Egypt. If you don't like it don't read it. I don't own Secret Saturdays but I did love the show when it was airing and I love them now.

Three days after Drew Saturday had given birth she and her husband Solomon faced a horrid situation. Argost was behind them trying to find the Kur stone. He would then more than likely kill the family. They ran until a river stopped them. They could fight but the baby…

Drew hid the baby behind a tree just as Argost appeared. His eyes cold and menacing. He and his man servant Munya attacked.

"Where is the stone!" he cried.

"You think we'd ever tell you," yelled Solomon as he was pushed into a tree. Behind that tree was their baby boy Zak. He was very small and had only a ring that fitted his small finger on. His basket was pushed into the fast and wild river.

"No!" yelled Drew as she saw the basket get swept away by the currant. She and her husband scared Argost off, only to weep for the loss of their child. They knew cryptids would have already eaten their newborn son. They knew all to well.

Meanwhile about a mile down the river…

Van Rook was packing up camp. His apprentice Doyle helped. Even though Doyle had only been an apprentice for about a year, Van Rook valued him. He was like the son he never had. He wished he had another one he could actually raise from infancy…

"Hey!" cried Doyle who was down by the river. The water was calm and gentle. In it was a soggy basket. Doyle lifted it from the water.

"Kind of heavy," he commented giving it to Van Rook. Van Rook grabbed it cautiously. He removed the top carefully, incase it was a trap or a bomb. But inside, he realized he got his wish. Inside was an infant. With jet black hair except for a small tuff of it on his forehead. He was small and darker skinned than he. But he had teary soulful eyes. Eyes that were red from crying. He saw a small ring on his finger. He lightly pulled it off. It was gold. And inside of it was engraved writing. Zak.

Eleven years later

"Hey Doyle?" said a voice. It was a high pitched male voice.

"Yeah kiddo?"

"I was wondering," he started.

"Yeah?"

"When can I go with you and Rook on one of you guys' missions?"

"When you're trained."

"Aw! I've been training since I was three! I'm good enough!" he complained. He was a small lanky eleven year old boy with nothing connecting him to his birth family but a small baby ring that he had on a chain he always wore on his neck. He was named Zak because of it. But Doyle decided to share his last name with him. Zak Blackwell.

He was compact. Very little fat. He had nice toned muscles. He even had a mask given to him by Van Rook who he called Rook or Uncle. Doyle he just called Doyle unless he was making a snarky comment. Zak sat in their home hidden in the forest. It was a small on near a town. Van Rook insisted that he at least have a place he can claim to be his home town. They lived near a little remote place called Vecasm. It was a small town used mostly as a train stop for companies. There was one school district there. Zak was one of the students. The Hazy Horses. The colors were orange and black.

Which pleased Zak. He loved the colors because they were associated with Halloween. And they looked awesome on him. He was a student that stood out with his white star ion his hair. But he wasn't unpopular. People always wanted to hang out with him after they found out his guardians knew Argost personally. And who doesn't want to meet a celebrity. Zak always had to hide his laughter. Argost was pure evil. But he did pay the bills for their awkward family of three.

"Why can't I go with you guys?"

"You have school," said Van Rook who had just entered the room.

"But Doyle didn't go to school!"

"He was raised in Tibet, you are living in America. You will become smart so you don't end up living with me till you turn thirty," he said with a glare.

"I'm twenty-eight you bastard," said Doyle.

"Watch your language," said Van Rook.

"I've heard worse," said Zak causing everyone to laugh. Van Rook knew this was true. Zak had sneaked on to their ship for many missions. And he always learned something he shouldn't. Like how to say fuck in thirteen different languages.

"But no. You aren't coming with us," said Van Rook sternly.

"Is it cause it's an Argost order?" he asked. Zak knew that they would never let him have anything to do with Argost missions. Because apparently, if you ever deal with Argost, you never make it out.

"Yeah. An Argost thing," answered Doyle.

"Cool. What are you guys stealing?"

"Something called the Kur Stone. From a scientist couple named Solomon and Drew."

"Are they gay?"

"No Drew is a fine woman," said Van Rook.

"Okay… really didn't need that last bit," said Zak cringing. Doyle laughed. Zak was still young and maybe even the slightest bit naïve. Despite the recent discovery he and Van Rook had the previous night. While he was sleeping, the house became surrounded by cryptids. And they all had the same frightening glow. They went to get Zak when they noticed that his eyes, although shut, had the same glow.
