A/N: Okay, this is a free verse poem-type thing. It's describing that scene in New Moon where Edward leaves Bella. The words that are Bold AND Italicized are lyrics from Cascada's "Bad Boy" and "Miracle".
Boy meets girl, you were my dream, my world…
He's talking,
He's explaining,
He's reasoning,
He's leaving.
Remember the feeling, remember the day,
My stone heart was breaking, my love ran away,
This moment I knew I would be someone else,
My love turned around and I fell.
It clicks,
You get it.
You understand,
You break.
He doesn't love you.
He never did.
You don't deserve him,
He was an angel,
You…
You're just human.
You're breaking,
You're crumbling,
You're falling,
You're drifting.
You try to stay,
You need to stay,
…You can't.
Emotions are rising,
Demanding,
Coursing,
Boiling.
Rage,
Fury,
Agony,
Guilt,
Pain.
The pain is unbelievable,
It's red hot,
It's gentle,
Yet twisting,
It's subtle,
Yet overpowering.
It's deadly.
You can't stand it.
You're losing control,
You're crying,
You're running.
You're running for your life.
You're running for everybody who cares.
You're running to save yourself.
You're running for him.
You hopelessly try to convince yourself,
It's for the best.
It has to be.
Why else would he do it?
Because he doesn't love you…
You were too boring…
You were too plain, too normal.
He deserved a perfect angel like himself.
Not you.
The sheer agony is dangerously close to bursting,
It's towering,
It's taking control.
You bottle it,
You store it,
You push it.
It's leaking,
It's spreading,
It's killing you.
So on my own, I feel so all alone,
Though I know, I'm still in love with you….
