The human mind is a complex thing.
It is, like the cockpit of an aircraft, where the pilot is able to bringing the plane up and down or change its course of direction.
Besides housing the ability to control a person's emotions, thoughts and actions, the human mind is also the key as to how a person may live his or her life. It is the mastermind behind a person's reasoning or the lack there of for his or her actions.
In other words, the human mind is what makes the person turn out the way he or she turns out.
As simple as that may sound, the way the mind works is in itself a mystery. The course of action that shapes the person although depends on the mind, is also subjective to other conditions. That is because the mind could be addled, altered and forcibly changed according to the environment in which a person grows up in or to the various events that take place in one's life.
For example, a normal child with an outspoken manner may grow up to be a submissive and reserved person, due to a difficult upbringing of an abusive nature or the fact that it takes after the behaviour of his or her parents. This is one way in which the original mind of a child can be modified by his or her childhood.
The same principle applies to people of violent nature. People who have unexplainable phobias. People with weird obsessions. People with unique quirks.
Although the minds among each individual is equally susceptible to modifications, the ability to withstand or prevent the changes made to oneself depends on the individual.
And that is what makes understanding the human mind, a challenge.
