Whenever Shannon feels herself starting to think twice about her decision, she thinks of the girls. Whenever she doubts herself and believes that maybe, Cooter was right all along, she thinks of Mercedes, Santana and Tina.

She thinks of the song they sang to her. She thinks of how she is a role model to them, whether she wants to be or not. She thinks of the boys on the football team, especially Puck, and how hard he's tried to break free from his past.

It's inspiring. And it helps give her the courage she needs to put herself first.

To not look back at what could have been, and instead, look forward at what is to come. At what she can make happen, if she chooses.

The End.
