A/N: Yes I'm busy as hell and yes I have other stories to work on and other things to do, but as soon as this idea popped into my head I just knew I had to write it down. I was watching the episode for Total Drama Action where the teams finally merge. So I decided what if Chris did more than just merge teams? What if he merged certain sleeping situations. This story is rated M for a reason. AKA: LEMON! I've always wanted to do one for this pairing! The first few chapters will be a tease leading up to the real action, Enjoy!

Stay On Your Side

Chapter 1: Heat

One minute they were fighting, the next they were avoiding each other. She still didn't forgive him for hooking up with Gwen and he still couldn't stand the fact that she got special treatment just because of some dumbass lawsuit.

But there still defiantly something there, neither of them could deny it. The accidental kiss had probably been the hottest thing either of them had experienced in a while. No doubt the flames where still there even if most of the heat was hostility.

The only thing Courtney was really happy about was the fact that she had her own fancy bed spread, sheets and pillows. That one luxury provided amazing sleep, as long as she had her own bed she was rather happy.

"Up and out cast mates!" yelled the evil host Chris Maclean.

Courtney groaned loudly, even with her earplugs his damn voice carried over like a bomb. She forced herself out of her overly fluffy bed and walked outside with the rest of the girls all still in their nightwear. Courtney better adjusted her top which had ridden dangerously up in the middle of the night.

"Nice peep show princess."

Courtney looked up to see Duncan ogling her in her pink top and tiny shorts. She wasn't self conscious, but the way Duncan looked her up and down made her jittery. "Shut up you ogre," she snapped finally adjusting her top.

Duncan scoffed at her stretching his well-toned muscled body. Courtney couldn't help but stare a little, she wasn't blind and it was obvious Duncan was a looker.

"See something you like?" he teased seeing her stare.

Courtney turned her face away so he wouldn't see the blush that stained her cheeks. "No! Don't be so full of yourself."

"You should really take your own advice," he replied pushing her slightly as he walked past her.

Courtney growled as she brushed off the tingling area of skin he had grazed.

Chris suddenly appeared giggling with glee. Whenever Chris was in a good mood it usually spelled disaster for everyone else.

"Morning cast mates!" Chris said in an overly cheery voice.

Everyone groaned in response still tired from yesterdays crazy sports challenge. Duncan was more grumpy than tired being that he lost to Courtney in wrestling. But the fact that he'd lost to a girl didn't bother him, the fact that he lost to Courtney again was what bothered him. When was he ever going to win a round in all their sparring?

Chris never even got around to explaining their challenge, simply telling them to get dressed and wait outside.

Courtney groaned again seriously considering to call her lawyer and suing Chris in wrongfully waking them all up too early. Her bad mood was only pushed further when Duncan playfully elbowed her.

"Wake up sunshine, it's just another day of challenges that you might end up failing," Duncan predicted.

Courtney sneered at him before poking him roughly in the chest. "Look you Neanderthal! I may have let you kiss me last season but don't think I won't kick you're sorry two-timing butt like I did the last two challenges."

Duncan merely scoffed at her and grabbed the hand she was still pointing at him with tightly in his grip. "Beginners luck, and technically I never kissed you, you kissed me first."

Courtney merely shot him a dirty look before whipping her hand out of his and stomping back to her trailer. Once she was alone she had to rub her hand to get rid of Duncan's lingering touch.

She couldn't believe she had to go to a stupid cheese factory after all her hard work to win the first part of the challenge. Not to mention she had to go with no-brains Lindsey. Even worse she was lactose intolerant!

Courtney angrily threw off her tomato juiced clothes and stepped into an actual shower to clean the rest of soupy liquid off. Turning on the shower as hot as she could, without burning her skin, she closed her eyes and tried to relax her muscles. Ever since she came back to this stupid game show she was always tense, always angry, and always bitter.

She honestly didn't care if anyone liked her, it wasn't like she liked any of them and it wasn't like she was here to make friends. She was here to win that million dollars. Fans and viewers be damned, she did what she had to do and wasn't going to apologize for playing the game. If anything there were other people who had to apologize for being total players.

Courtney cursed herself for thinking about Duncan while in the shower. She still couldn't believe how much he fired her up, even worse she couldn't stand that she still felt so strongly for him. Had she actually said "Dunky" when he had been hit by that sleep dart and fell into that pit? The worst part was the whole nation had seen her say it as well!

Courtney moaned and began to work her fingers through her hair. She was so screwed.

"You wouldn't happen to be thinking about me would you?"

Courtney screamed when she heard Duncan's voice. "Duncan what are you doing here!" she screeched behind the curtain looking for her towel.

"Oh chill drama queen, I can't see anything you big prude," said Duncan annoyed. "I got all the stink out of me early like you did and came to wash up."

Courtney didn't care, he had no right to be in there when she was. "Duncan get out, haven't you ever heard of privacy?"

"Nope," replied Duncan shrugging off his own soaked tomato clothes.

Courtney could see his silhouette through the curtain and quickly turned away when she saw him removing his pants. "Well it means when a girl is taking a shower that a man is suppose to wait his turn."

She already heard the water going off in the shower space next to her. "Well good thing there aren't any girls in here," shot back Duncan.

Courtney growled picking up the shampoo bottle and squeezing it too hard causing shampoo to squirt out all over the place. "Asshole!" she shouted angrily rubbing the overload of shampoo in her tangled hair.

"Hey it was a compliment!" shouted back Duncan also shooting up the hot water on full blast. "You handled the spy challenge better than most guys would've. You're in a league of your own princess."

She wasn't sure if her face was turning red because of the hot water or because Duncan had actually complimented her. She had been well aware of his eyes staring at her the whole time during the spy challenge. She had had trouble staying focused when he was practically eye-raping her, but at the same time him staring at her made her want to step up her game to the maximum. In a way he had actually helped.

"So where did you learn all that crazy ninja stuff anyway?" asked Duncan truly curious. It didn't really occur to him that he was talking to the girl he really liked when they were both showering naked right next to each other.

Courtney beamed remembering all her gymnastic classes and martial arts class. "Oh just a few classes here and there to make sure no jerk off would be able to put their hands on me."

Duncan chuckled loving her feistiness. "Bet you never expected to use them in a spy challenge."

Courtney shrugged also giggling. "I guess not, but at least I won the challenge. Too bad the prize freaking sucks."

Duncan laughed harder remembering she was lactose intolerant and going to a cheese factory. Talk about bad luck.

"Shut up," snapped Courtney hearing Duncan laugh.

Duncan stopped his laughing and innocently said. "It could be worse."

Courtney rolled her eyes now applying conditioner to her hair. "Right… I lost the million dollar split deal with all of you, my PDA is out of service and now I have to go to a smelly cheese factory with miss air head."

Duncan took a bar of soap running it over his body. "At least you'll get a break from this place, not that you haven't been getting special treatment ever since you got here," he added bitterly.

Courtney stopped lathering the soap on her own body to gawk at his words. "Excuse me, but all the special treatment in the world doesn't help the fact that everyone here is against me, even my own team!"

"Well maybe if you didn't act like such a spoiled know-it-all, then everyone wouldn't want you gone so badly." barked Duncan rinsing himself off. "I mean what the hell happened to you since last season? One minute you're only slightly dramatic and uptight, then all of a sudden you're miss mean, nasty, competitiveve, overbearing, overdramatic, -"

"OK, OK, I get it!" said Courtney turning off her shower water and wrapping a towel securely around herself. "Yes I've changed, I've gotten tougher and maybe even meaner, but that's what you have to do in order to succeed."

She started to walk out of her shower stall when Duncan suddenly exited his at the same moment. He had a towel wrapped loosely around his waist with beads of hot water rolling down his firmly toned body. He was so close to her she could feel the steam from his body evaporating off on her. She had to struggle to keep eye contact with him as he stared her down.

"You don't fool me sweetheart. You can act as fearless as you want, but deep down you're still afraid of failure and disappointment. It's why you treat everyone like dirt, so you don't have to take the risk of getting close to anyone, so you don't have to risk losing them."

Courtney huffed feeling hot tears building up in her eyes. "Well I've learned from experience how much it sucks to lose someone." She was about to walk past him when he grabbed her arm tightly and backed her up against the tiled wall forcing her to look at him.

"I'm still right here!" shouted Duncan knowing she was talking about him. "I never left you, I just had to leave for some stupid game show, do you honestly think I'd write you off so easily."

Courtney pushed him away and grabbed her towel before it slipped. "You already did that when you hooked up with Gwen!"

Duncan growled, sick of hearing her talk and tried approaching her again. He tangled his fingers in her hair and supported her waist with his other hand. She tried to protest but her words died in her mouth as his hand moved down across her long neck and his thumb grazed her lower lip. She couldn't help but tremble against him. She gasped when his lower hand had moved around the small of her back and pulled her hips against his. By now she had to really suppress her shaking so she wouldn't appear weak in front of him, which was hard with his naked, wet chest against her barely covered one and her hips placed over his with him holding her in place.

She knew what he was trying to do, even in her physically blissful state she wasn't stupid. He thought that something as simple as a kiss or just holding her was enough? No sir, he was going to have to do more to win her forgiveness, if she was even willing to give it.

Just when Duncan was about to capture her lips, she moved her head away and didn't turn it back to him. Duncan felt his entire being shatter. He saw there was no changing her mind, there was no compromising with her. She had decided and that was that. There was no saving this, no getting her back, no second chances.

Duncan threw up his hands in defeat before shaking his head and giving her a cold look. "Whatever," he muttered collecting his dirty clothes and walking out.

Courtney leaned against the tile wall taking in deep shaky breaths. She was beat red, sweating, and hazy. And it wasn't the heat from the shower.

A/N: Yeah there's some drama, but great fighting leads to great sex later. LOL! So review and until then see you next time.
