A/N: I just randomly thought of this the other day and I tend to write weird fluff, so here goes. Please review, because I like to know what you think! Enjoy!
She could feel him staring down at her as she looked at her feet. He gently lifted her head with his hand under her chin and smiled. "We're being watched," he laughed as he whispered into her ear. Her eyes shot over to Hodgins who was stood a couple of feet away, grinning. His smile dropped as he noticed he'd been seen; wait until Angela hears about this he thought. Brennan smiled at Booth as they watched Hodgins walk away.
"Angela!" Hodgins said, dashing in her room out of breath. She sat up straight on her sofa and put down her sketchpad. "You'll never believe what I just saw!" he gasped, sitting next to her on the sofa. "What?" she asked, half excited, half worried. "Dr Brennan and Agent Booth were stood in the doorway to her office together, as close as physically possible," he paused for a breath. Angela clearly didn't appreciate this as she demanded "Come on, what happened?!"
"He lifted her head up, because she wouldn't look at him and he leaned towards her and whispered something in her ear," he told her in perfect detail. Angela squealed and jumped off her seat to face him. "Please tell me this isn't some sick joke."
"Why don't you go out there and look for yourself?" he grinned like a Cheshire cat and gestured to the lab. She swung through her door and nearly ran head first into Zack. She followed his gaze to Brennan and Booth who were still stood in the door of Brennan's office. "Now would be the perfect time for popcorn," she squeaked. The three squints stood in the middle of the lab, watching. And waiting.
"Don't move!" Booth whispered as he put his arm at the side of his partner so she had no choice but to stay put. "Why not? We have work to do and everyone's staring."
"Then let's work. Have you got anything new on Mary Williams?" he asked, leaning over her shoulder every time he whispered. "The fracture on the skull seems to be post mortem," she replied quietly, in her anthropological voice. "Bones, you could at least sound convincing," he added, gently brushing his other arm against hers. "And why would I want to do that…Seeley?" this time she stepped back into her office, her eyes never leaving his. He smiled as he followed her into the room, leaving the door slightly ajar. They sat on the sofa for a moment in silent laughter, before Brennan sat down at her computer and began to type.
