I ran. That's all I could after what I just said. I couldn't face him. No, no after that and not after all the years. The halls were silent and empty as I ran. No one could hear my footsteps or my crying.
I found a abandon broom closet. I threw the door open and quickly hid myself in it. The darkness offered comfort to me. I turned a bucket over and sat down. My face was buried in my hands, tears falling down. Oh, how I wished it as his robes my tears soaked. No, I mustn't think like that. It only adds to the pain.
"Why? He hates me, his father, Dumbledore, the world! Why is it so hard for me to find some love?" I sobbed, burying my head into my knees. Only wishing to disappear.

What I didn't expect was the door to be thrown open. He, of course, stood there. His eyes were trained on me. Probably taking in my disgruntled state. I could only stare at him. As if a dream I'm afraid of waking from.
"Why are you crying in a dirty place like this?" He asked, he voice soft. I turned my head, breaking my staring contest with him.

"Because I've been waiting 4 years for you to say that." He says, hugging me tight. I don't answer: I just listen to his heartbeat. The steady rhythm calms me.

That's all he says before his lips catch mine. I'm startled, but find myself kissing back.

"Do you mean it?" I ask softly.

"Do you promise, Draco?" I ask, my voice shaking slightly. He kisses me again. He backs away and smiles.
