Summary: Ever wonder what happened in the Grissom household after little Gil gave his grandmother's ring to a classmate? And how it effected the future? Two drabbles.
A/N: I couldn't decide how to end the drabble so I decided to write two of them. Both start the same but end differently. They are based on Grissom's story to Doc Robbins about giving his grandmother's ring to his second grade classmate. In the past Grissom's mother can still hear. These drabbles are not beta'd so any and all mistakes are mine. Enjoy.

"Gilbert Grissom, you go get that ring back right now!!" demanded his mother.
"But mommy, she likes bugs."
"Honey, you don't marry someone cause they like bugs. You marry them cause you love them, cause they make you happy, cause they're the one."
"But how do I know they're the one?"
"You'll know son, you'll know" his father chuckled, coming into the kitchen and kissing his wife's cheek.

Grissom looked up and felt his heart race, his breath catch in his throat. "Those eyes….that smile….the one."
