All He Wanted

As darkness was consumed by the thundering storm, his memories came to view.

The pain streaks every now and then, the hate grows from within, the tears are kept from flowing. There he was, a little lost boy, which lay cold and frigid, keeping all the pain inside his broken little soul.

He knew that no matter how long he cried, no matter how it hurts, nothing will happen, that no one will come..

It had always been like this. They had said that he was nothing, a nobody. 'Perhaps they were right,' he thought. He had always been alone and sometimes he envied the happy children around his age, living happily with their parents, enjoying their youth with their friends.

He always knew that he was different. The way the other children would pick on him, the way his relatives would beat him, the way he had to deal with shame all his life, all made sense.

Life was unfair.

His mother was a prostitute and had him with a man who owned a rice business. And because of that, his relatives treated him like dirt. He had always thought that when you're given the gift of life, you should be grateful for it.

But it just didn't made sense for him, at all.

No one wanted him, no one cared, and no one even dared to be close to him. He felt as though he was a curse that even made the closest to him, turn away.

He didn't regret though. He thought that if he stayed in the shadows, he would not get hurt again.

But he was wrong.

No matter how much he tried to hide it, the fear was always evident in his eyes. For every beating, his heart cried, for every mocking, his pride was stoned at, for every humiliation, his spirit broke. He just couldn't take it anymore; he wanted to end this worthless life.

But somehow, he just couldn't do it.

His pride would not allow it.

Deep inside in his heart, he knew that it was wrong. Many people die each day, regretting things they weren't able to do when they were still alive, that they left their love ones behind. Even though, he had no one, he still wanted to find a reason to live, to guide him.

He didn't care if it was right or wrong; all he wanted was someone to be there.

All he wanted was someone to wipe those bitter tears of his broken little soul.

All he wanted was something worth living for.

All he wanted was to make the people around him happy.

All he wanted was to be proud of himself.

All he wanted was to love and be loved in return.

And he found it at the feet of a madman who had once trusted him.the only one who trusted him.and a person who happened to have an evil twisted mind.

He did as he was told, blinded by fear and lies as he became even more miserable than he already was.
