Story behind this drabble:I love this song and I wanted to brush up my writing skills.
Disclaimer: I do not own the lyrics Moondance. And I do not own One Piece. If I did Sanji would be on top of Zoro pronto...Haha or vice versa.
Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance
Everyone went off to the city while Sanji and Nami were on the ship.
With the stars up above in your eyes
Nami looked up in the sky writing down things on the new map she was writing up.
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
Sanji put out his cigarette. 'Tonight's the night.'
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
She stood up and stretched. "Sanji-Kun?"
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
Sanji walked to her with a rose in hand. Nami smiled as he put the rose in her hair. "Thank you."
He held his hand out. "Welcome. Will you dance with me?"
"There's no music." She felt hot.
And all the night's magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
The air filled with scratchy music. She looked around and saw Usopp playing a violin. "Now there is." He led her out to the deck.
Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love
As soon as they had started dancing Rika stepped on his foot. "Sorry." She laughed.
"It's okay." He clenched his teeth holding back the pain.
Well I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait till the morning has come
They danced for hours. She followed him as he led. She swayed when he swayed. She looked into his eyes and knew that she was in love.
And I know now the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
The breeze became cooler as they were getting hotter. Sanji leaned in and kissed her. "Nami, I love you."
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure you're never alone
She blushed. "I love you too."
There and then all my dreams will come true, dear
There and then I will make you my own
"I'll never leave your side. I promise."
"Same here." She smiled.
And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that you can't hide
"Deal. But you know what you're going into right?"
"I do. What lovesick sap wouldn't?" She kissed him back. When his warm lips touched her cold lips she trembled.

"One more dance, my princess?"
"Of course, my prince."
Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance
After an hour or so, Usopp went to sleep and the rest of the crew came back. They saw Nami and Sanji on the deck sleeping soundly with smiles on their faces.
"It's best if we leave them here." Robin said. She got a blanket and put it over the couple.
Robin asked Zoro, "Why don't you do anything romantic for me?"
Zoro muttered, "Damn shitty cook."
