Hey guys this is just one little chapter thing I decided would be sweet, it's only this chapter no more but I would love to hear you thoughts on it. I was never a mason fan but god I miss him in the books, he was such a sweet good guy, stupid striogoi (though I never gave up on Dimitri when he was turned). Read my other stories to. Set in shadow kiss (In the middle) Thanks love you guys.

My soul and yours: Mason and Rose fan fiction.

I was walking back from the latest party, it was a warm night and I was one of the last ones to leave, Lissa and Christian left ages ago. Dimitri was running a shift so I was alone. As I was walking I suddenly stopped, pain was starting to seep through me like a headache. I sat down for a second when the shape blurred and then came into full view in front of me. I stopped clutching my head. It was Mason. I smiled but it was a sad smile.

"Hey honey" I whispered to him. He cracked a rare smile. I stood up and I walked closer to him. He seemed pleased by this.

"I wish you were here tonight, it would have been so much fun with you in there, and we could have danced, just like we used to" I told him, his smile faded and he was sad again.

"You want to dance Mase" I asked him, his smile returned and he nodded.

I dropped my purse on the open and dark field. I was in a red dress that went to my knees but was easy to dance in. he was in jeans and a white shirt. I walked forward till he was right in front of me. I knew he wouldn't be able to touch me but I could just have my hand inches from his. But first he stepped back and bowed.

"Come here, young gentleman" I laughed. I lifted my hand just inches from his form and traced his cheek without actually touching him. He looked like he could feel it though. He lifted his hand and lifted it inches from mine.

Then we were dancing. He never touched me but was always inches from me. It was magical.

Once we finished I collapsed on the ground. He then lay next to me. The grass was tingling me but I didn't mind, I turned to face him. We stared at each other for so long. He leaned forward and kissed the air next to my cheek, and a tear stained my cheek as it rolled down.

His form was flickering, so we decided to stand up. He was starting to fade and as he blew me a kiss, a magnificent white light came between us and I could no longer see him and when the light disappeared and brought back the black endless night, he was gone.

I waited for a moment until I felt warm hands circle my waist; I could smell aftershave. I turned and faced Dimitri.

"What are you doing out here roza?" he asked. I just smiled and pressed my lips to his.

"Nothing"
