The Preface
As I ran through the crowd of people pushing them out of my way, all I kept thinking was,
"Alice see me I'm too slow. Help me." I was begging to Alice that she would see I was to slow and run to Edward in non-human speed and stop him killing himself. As I reached the fountain, my legs crashed against the side. I looked at the clock tower it read 12:05, I looked down and that's when I saw my Edward fall to the ground with Felix behind him. My heart fell into a million pieces, tears fell down my face in the sun.
"I have failed him. I was stupid, slow and also human. I have failed my Edward."I thought to myself.
Now I knew what Edward told me when he was alone in the 1900's with nobody by his side, nobody to love him. It was horrible knowing that I would never touch him again, never feel his ice cold skin against mine. And now all these years later I know what he exactly means…
