Erik took a step back as a change seemed to come over Christine. She took a deep breath, opened her eyes, and glared at the men. Erik looked as if his heart had been broken yet again, and Raoul just looked confused. After all, he was tied up.
Christine took a step toward the Phantom. "M'kay, are you going to untie him or am I going to have to do it myself? It's getting very old, being the sweet and innocent one."
To illustrate her point, she sloshed through the water and up the stairs, picking up the knife on the Phantom's desk. She stepped back down into the water, raising her eyebrows and looking at Erik, and then at Raoul's bonds. Erik and Raoul still hadn't moved; they seemed to be in shock.
She toyed with the knife and said, "Come on now, be quick about it. Neither of you are going to get me, so might as well become friends."
