This is a HHr FanFic. It is their happy wedding that turns sour. Enjoy! BTW: this is only my second fan fiction. One-Shot!
It was their wedding day. As Harry was getting dressed for the best day of his life, Ron walked in, wearing an apologetic smile.
"Good luck, mate!" he said as he sat on the bench next to Harry.
"Meh. I've been with 'Mione for two years! Nothing could get in the way of today!" Harry replied, nearly tripping over his words.
"I put money on the fact that you WILL screw something up today!" Ron said with a laugh.
Harry just shook his head, his face tightening.
"Come on, Harry!" Ron said in apology. "I'm sorry!"
"Whatever!" Harry retorted.
"Well, I mean, you did accidentally spill tea all over her white dress on her birthday!"
"Yeah. I guess." Harry said in defeat. "But, this is our wedding day! I've got to make this perfect for her!"
"Are you sure you can live up to her standard of 'perfect'?" he asked.
"Y-" He started, but fixed himself. "Well, I'm… not actually sure if I can do that… I mean, she can be quite the perfectionist… I hope she doesn't have a mental breakdown if the flowers aren't centered correctly." He finished jokingly.
"Hah! Well you better get on that!" Ron said, as he walked out of the room.
Just before the ceremony started, Dan, Hermione's father walked in.
"So, Harry…" He started, but trailed off.
"Yes, sir?"
"Please, call me Dan." He replied. "You and Hermione have been together for two years, and you're about to become my son-in-law."
"Ok. How about dad?" Harry asked hesitantly.
He smiled. "Even better. Well, Hermione has been worked up all day."
"I can imagine." He replied, with a laugh.
"Hah." Dan looked sternly at him. "Just know that we are always here to help, and that you don't have to do everything on your own."
"Thank you."
"AGH!" he exclaimed after he looked at his watch. "The ceremony will start any minute!"
He and Harry both rushed out of the room.
"Do you, Hermione, take Harry…" said their wedder, but was zoned out by Harry.
She is so beautiful. He thought to himself, as he looked into the eyes of his almost-to-be wife. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
He was forced back to the wedding. "And do you, Harry, take Hermione as your wife?"
He looked back into Hermione's eyes. "Hermione, I love you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life."
There was a diverse collection of "Awww's" from those watching.
"Hermione Granger, I do take you as my w-" he started with a great smile, tears forming in his eyes.
"REDUCTO!" he heard. He pushed Hermione to the ground just in time for the curse to sail over her head. Harry pulled out his wand, looking for the attacker.
"Petrificus totalus!" he heard
"Protego!" he cast back
"Incedio!"
"Protego! Stupify!"
The spells stopped for a second, but the silence was ended with a green flash and a spell connecting with Hermione's leg. As Harry looked down to it, he already noticed a small pool of blood.
"Hermione" he said softly. "It's going to be ok…"
"Harry…" she started, her voice quivering. "I lov-"
"Reducto!"
Harry's eyes widened in horror as the blue spell hit Hermione. As the light left her eyes, she said one last thing. "Please Harry, don't worry about me. Leave." She brushed a stray hair form his forehead. "I love you…" she finished as she took her last breath and died with a gentle smile on her face.
"LET ME GO! SHE GOT WHAT SHE DESERVED!" he heard. He looked up to see George, Ron, and Arthur holding Ginny against the wall in the back. It was HER! But why?
As the lifted his wand once more, he felt the pain of losing the one girl he loved, the only one for him. Without her, he was incomplete, he was Broken.
"Avada Kadavra…" he said quietly as held his wand under his chin. He was welcomed back into Hermione's embrace by the green light that surrounded him.
