In keeping with my last update, I chose my favourite scene from the last episode and rewrote it.

It amazed them the way she could make them feel like schoolchildren.

"Do you both think me an idiot?"

"No, ma'am." They replied, looking down in slight shame.

"Then don't lie to me." She said, narrowing her eyes. Chuck contemplated for several seconds before standing.

"General. Look, I think it's important," Sarah looked at him in worry, he stared straight ahead "that you should know that Sarah and I," he looked at her now "We-." As he took her hand the General cut him off.

"Stop right there! Release Agent Walker, I didn't ask." Chuck and Sarah released each other immediately, again like caught school children. They folded their hands respectively away from each other.

"I don't need to know all the de-." She continued.

"But I thought you said no more lies." He interjected. "And we,...we want to tell you the truth."

"No!" she said sternly, her pale blue eye boring into them. Sarah rolled her eyes inwardly.

"General, Chuck and I are dating." Sarah smiled as Chuck gaped at her, the General sighed and sagged as she closed her eyes, an expression of tested patience on her face. Chuck and Sarah turned back to each other.

"Exclusively." She smiled at him. with one word she made his heart sing. They looked back to the general who glared up at them. Her look wiped the grin off Chuck's face, his expression sombre.

"I must caution you that allowing your private life to interfere with your professional one can be dangerous." Chuck and Sarah glanced at each other and missed the formation of the General's smile.

"But off the record, its about damn time!" the uplink cut off.

YAY! CHUCK AND SARAH SITTING IN A TREE, S-P-Y-I-N-G. fail rhyme...BUT ZOMG THEY'RE FINALLY TOGETHER! YUSS!
