Leah and Jacob
Jacob P.O.V
I was in werewolf form lying on the Cullen's front lawn waiting for Leah to get back. Seth was hanging with Sam and his pack in human form as he missed those guys. Leah had gone to them all a while a go to give them some food that Esme had insisted on making. I would have taken it to them myself but I was on patrol all night so I needed to sleep.
Leah where are you? You should be back by now. I thought, after I got my needed rest, knowing she would hear me.
Chill Jake I'm almost back. Leah thought in a some what sad, small, unlike Leah voice.
Leah? What's wrong? I thought worried about my friend and beta of the pack.
Nothing. I'm fine. Leah thought stubbornly. However when she stepped out of the forest onto the Cullen's front lawn, it was obvious that she was lying. Leah had thick tears running from her eyes into her long fur.
LEAH! What's wrong? I thought whilst running over to her.
I didn't know that werewolves could cry. Leah thought sadly whilst walking nearer to me.
What happened? I thought rubbing my face against hers. This was a way to comfort our kind.
Jake it was horrible. Leah thought nuzzling her face into my shoulder. Leah was always stubborn or angry, but deep down we all knew it was because she was sad.
Do you want us to both phase and talk about it? I thought gently laying my head against hers.
Jake that sounds lame. Leah thought sadly whilst pressing her head against mine for reassurance, But yes please.
Okay, lets go phase in the woods. I thought as we both walked into the woods.
We both parted to phase and luckily I had some jeans on me. Just as I was about to phase I heard Leah call my name.
Jake, I can't phase. I can't calm myself. She thought to me.
Okay don't worry. I'll phase then I'll come help you. I replied.
Thank you. Leah thought.
I phased and changed into my jeans. I then walked in the direction that I saw Leah walk in and I soon found her leaning against a tree.
"Hey Lee, just try to calm down. Take deep breaths" I said whilst rubbing the fur on her face gently. She nuzzled her face into my now human neck and breathed slowly. I kept rubbing her long fur and a few minutes later she phased back into her human state. I felt her thin arms wrap around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her small waist.
"What happened?" I asked concerned.
"I-I saw S-Sam a-and Em-mily i-in th-the w-woods. They... they w-where ha-having s-s-sex" Leah said through her crying.
