A poem I wrote for school, but it works perfectly for just about anything to do with the south. I very much enjoy it, and I hope others do as well. Read and review, please and thank you

Heartbroken,

Alone walkin',

Lost token,

No longer talkin'

Divorce is an odd thing,

No laughin' here,

Not even with a country twang,

Sadness is all there is to hear.

One cheated,

Another left,

Curb kicked,

Locked away for theft

Who's to say how it ends,

With the bottle,

Law tends,

Or a tattle

Either way the story goes,

The pain spreads fast,

Even to your toes,

Ya gotta know though it never lasts.
