Disclaimer: I do not own tales of Symphonia and I am sick and tried of trying to get this poem to separate its stanzas. There is a way, I am just not to sure how to do it with the Document manger. So, enjoy anyway!
To Live in a World like Yours
Dreams and wishes,
Come galore,
For whoever wants it.
Daydreams and such,
Are frequent,
In this tiny, tiny world.
And we sit upon our pedestals,
To live freely,
In our wonderful homes.
And now I leave on my quest,
The quest of life,
A quest that will set things right.
But I wonder
What it would be like,
To live a life like that.
A life without sorrow,
Or worry,
A carefree life like others.
Author's Notes:
This is why I love poetry- it is simple and to the point. No major plots or characters to worry about. Just enough detail to get your point across, then enough to come up with your own meanings…right?
Tales of Symphonia…loved that game beyond all reason. It was the first game I ever beat without a guidebook of any sort. Well, this poem was for little o' klutz Queen Colette. And even those Colette was one of my least favorite characters, after playing the game…I kinda felt bad for her. So, originally this was gunna be one-shot but then I got lazy so made it into a poem!
Okay, bye!
