HOOKED
"Just take it off the hook Rei."
"Kai, it's flipping water everywhere!"
"Is the hook stuck?"
"umm, err. I dunno, I guess so."
"Don't mumble, you're starting to sound as bad as Tyson."
"Kai!"
"What now?"
"Help me..."
"Give me the fish."
"I don't want it to die!"
"We can let it go then."
"You do it."
"Hn.."
"Pleease, Kai, it's gross."
"Heh, you baby."
"Sick!"
"Rei, the hook wound's too deep, it'll bleed to death anyways."
"You mean it's going to die?" He turned forlorn golden eyes towards Kai, "Is it my fault?"
"Well, you caught it."
"I… but it's just a baby, I never wanted to..."
"Actually it's fully grown. These fish don't get that big, but Rei, it's fine. We're fishing, and this is what you're supposed to do. It was a good catch"
"…I'm sorry."
"Don't cry over it for goodness sake. Rei, it's a fish."
"So what, It's still sad…"
"Here, I'll just put it in the cooler. See, it's gone now."
"I don't wanna fish anymore."
Kai stopped retying the hook on the other's line and watched him gaze sulkily into the calm waters.
"You weren't like this when I caught the other three."
"Yeah, but you caught them… and you were happy… and… and,"
"And what, did a hook catch your tongue too?" Kai smirked, giving his partner a playful stare.
"No! Your fish didn't Look at me first, Kai!" He took a small step towards the older boy in the small boat.
Kai nearly choked. "It didn't look at you any special way… right?"
Rei blinked at the innocently perverted question, letting it sink in, and watching Kai's eyes flicker up and down his bare chest. Rei spluttered and turned away. "N-no… that's not what I meant, it's just… it was begging and I couldn't hel—mmph! Ack, Kai, what are you do…"
Rei struggled to find his lost footing as the other boy quickly spun him around. Both staring each other face to face, heated breath crossing salty skin. "It's because I looked at you first, right Rei?"
"Huh, what?"
"That's why I'm still hooked."
Awwwe! End. Sorry if it didn't make any sense! It's symbolism… I think… heh.
Okies. Yeah, I'm back, with another un-updated fic… I'm horrible. Anyways, I started a Beyblade Christmas fic! With everyone's favorite couple. Lol. First chapter will go up in November… (I think!)
Anyways, I was just soo in the mood to write with these guys, and I was bored x)
