Joining the Akatsuki
Indi-chan: welcome all! I am proud to announce my very first fanfic! WOOT! The members of the Akatsuki will help me explain stuff before and after each chapter, so be ready. Your turn itachi-san!
Itachi-san: Naruto, and all characters accept for indi-chan herself belong to someone else… joy...

"Well," I said. "There it is. The key to my power, the Akatsuki hideout." I ventured on down the dusty road, ready for the tests of skill, loyalty, and whatever else they decided to test me for.
As I got there, I heard a loud voice echo from the watch tower. "Who goes?" boomed the shadowy leader. Pein.
"I do, sir." I answered respectfully. "I have come to be an apprentice to the akatsuki.
I think that this may have had some affect on him, for he pondered a bit before addressing me, "young one, do you know what you would need to accomplish to become part of our alliance? Do you know what challenges you must face to be accepted?"
"Yes. I feel that I am prepared for anything you throw at me. Please accept my offer." This was all I could manage under the pressure of multiple pairs of shady eyes beating down upon me as I waited for acceptance.
It came.
"I will test you, but don't expect me to actually make you a part of our club. That rests solely on your own shoulders."
Yes.
