Sinead's POV
Sinead Starling groaned as she got up, she was sooo tired, but she still got up and forced herself to brush her teeth. She then noticed that in the comm. center, the blue Tomas sleeping bag was empty, including hers too. Jonah and Ian were still asleep. She quickly checked the computer, no new messages. Good, she walked downstairs and didn't notice the big teddy bear in her way. She tripped over it and landed on something, "oof," it said. She saw what she had landed on, big, burly, Hamilton Holt. She blushed and surprisingly, so did he. She got up and said," Sorry I landed on you," and left. She walked into the kitchen and noticed that Hamilton had followed. She made a quick cup of coffee and sat down. Hamilton sat down right next to her. She started by saying," I'm so worried about Ted". "I'm worried about Reagan." They talked until Ham said," Want to go rock climbing?"
Ham's POV
Hamilton Holt blushed because the question had been so sudden and random but, Sinead looked so surprised, but she said," Sure."
Hamilton easily beat Sinead, but he had to admit that she was pretty good too. They did marathons and climbing and lots of stuff. To his surprise, he gave her tips on how to be better at it. They walked back up to the comm. center and found Jonah and Ian awake. Ian had three big scratches on his arm and was crying like a baby. Sinead quickly ran up and dabbed at it with a suspicious looking substance. Ian said," Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"! Sinead replied," They give you anesthetics for these?" Ian just glared at her but he shut up.
Sinead's POV
After she finished cleaning Ian's arm she suddenly thought of the prospect of all of the captives dead and covered with blood. She started crying and Hamilton hugged her, much to everyone's surprise. He soothed her and suddenly kissed her. All she could think of now was that Hamilton's lips were very soft and warm and, that she Sinead Starling was kissing Hamilton Holt, heiskindacute, wait, don't think that! She, an Ekat, kissing a Tomas? She broke off looking as red as a tomato.
Ham's POV
Hamilton Holt blushed as red as lava when they broke apart. His very first thought was that he realized that he liked Sinead. His next thought was that he wasn't sure why he had done that, wait,he did that because maybe she would forgive him for all he had done, the words and thebombechoed in his mind, but then his (rude) other side said withakiss? Hammer was jolted out of his thoughts by Eisenhower booming," Sinead, are you trying to take and break my son, eh? Well, I know he may look weak to you but YOU are stupid to think my son would break that easily." Hamilton took a deep breath and said," Dad, Sinead didn't kiss me, I kissed her. I truly like her and I think she is beautiful and smart. Eisenhower seemed to think, then look Hamilton in the eye and then said," Well, I guess that is alright then, but Sinead you better not break his heart!" Hamilton looked carefully at Sinead, he wondered what she would do after his confession.
From the look on her face, she looked angry. He braced himself for the punch, which never came.
Sinead's POV
Sinead gave him another long kiss after his confession. She felt heart touched and returned the feeling. She felt like it was the best moment in her life, better than when her brothers had been saved, better than when she won first place for he world wide competition, better than all the moments in her life. And finally Ian Kabra coughed and said," It's time to start now, lovebirds." They both blushed, and sat down, holding hands.
