Coffee my favorite. Which was most likely why I worked at the Starbucks inside a Barnes & Noble which was of course inside a mall. My age you ask... well my ID says that I was born 1990. My name, again my ID says Melony Carson Spinx. My real age... I sure wish I knew. I can tell you that one of my first memories was when I awoke inside a hidden Hydra facility in Canada round 1970. My real name I am not completely sure, but the dog tags I awoke wearing round 1970 say Cheryl with a set of numbers below that and on the other side Project : Niluphel.

At first I had wanted to know who I truly was... what I was. But nightmares made me stop looking in the end. You see after many years of searching I had grown tired and found much of nothing really. The nightmares were worse when I searched for who I was now they no longer seem to plague my life unless I begin to think of the past to which they may resurface. But that has not happened in a long time. I stopped looking for who I was round the mid-80's. I lived in Indiana for awhile till I felt the need to move worried that people would notice that I did not age. I moved to Arizona from their to New Mexico then Texas and now I live in Missouri.

Today I was at work but already it had been about ten minutes ago that I was suppose to be off. Ignoring the clock knowing my relief would be late as she usually was I continued to take customers orders. My co-worker Johnathan rambled on about our customers, "Come on Mel! Tell me that your not the least bit weirded out by the bald guy and his sunglasses bodyguard?" Johnathan always talked about the customers but Melony had to agree these two had been coming in round they same time she worked for the past few days. It was a bit weird.

Ignoring him I finished taking an order when Bethany finally arrived, "Sorry I'm late Mel it wont happen again." I rolled my eyes knowing better than that it would happen again as it always had.

"It's okay Bethany Just be happy its me instead of Sally your relieving." Bethany shook her head in agreement as she took the apron from me. As I left grabbing my brown leather jacket and my shoulder bag I could hear Johnathan continue talking about the 'weird guys'. "Don't you think its weird Bethany that those guys show up while Mel's here and leave not long after she does." I would say I was surprised buy this information but the thing was I had noticed it on the first day that they left not long after me.

They had both been following me and I had to be even more careful than usual about using my 'gifts'.
