Undying Loyalty

Summary: Itachi was to die alone and in shame then a blue angel came for him with undying love and loyalty.

Itachi was in great pain as he lay blind on the ground, dying alone and in shame of the secret he could never share. Itachi was drowning in his regrets, even if he could die, knowing Sasuke grew stronger like he'd always hoped.

"Angel?"

Itachi jerked, his blind eyes opening and looking around though it was futile.

"Oh Itachi," the voice sighed.

Itachi blinked in shock. "Kisame?" he whispered.

He could hear the smirk in his voice. "Who else love?" the shark nin asked.

"You're not real," Itachi breathed; closing his eyes ad turning away. His mind was making him suffer in death.

"Of course I'm real," Kisame chuckled and to prove it, he gently moved his weasel's head to his lap after he'd sat down.

Itachi's eyes snapped open. "Why you doing here?! You should hate me! Not be here! Not after-! Not after…"

'Love? No Kisame, you were merely pleasure, not even that.'

Itachi silently cried more tears of blood as he remembered the horrible things he had said to his love and soul.

Kisame sighed as he remembered too. "I know you were just scared and hurt of what was to come with Sasuke-kun. I know you were trying to get me to move on," he said gently.

Itachi sobbed, burying his face into Kisame's thigh, smearing blood. 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he choked.

"There's nothing to forgive," Kisame replied soothingly, running his fingers through the Uchiha's hair.

"I love you," Itachi said tentatively.

Kisame smiled and kissed his weasel. "I love you too Angel," he replied and kissed him again.

Itachi kissed back, missing his lover's taste, and the warmth he radiated.

"St-stay with me?" Itachi asked.

"I wouldn't leave even if you told me," Kisame replied, holding his hand tightly.

End.
