Perhaps this is the price they had to pay. After all, even super humans have their own incapability no matter how perfect they may appear or claim to be. There are just some things in love they can never do or have. And this is one of them

To say it was breathtaking was an understatement. Oh how she longed to be in their shoes right now. How she longed to feel what they feel right now. If only it was biologically possible for her.

He looked so fragile in her arms. His soft skin brushes on hers. A tinge of jealousy erupts within her as she handed the boy to her best friend. The things she would give up just to be in Robin and Mike's place right now. She'd give up everything, even her powers just so Brick and she could have one of their own.

Sadly, this feeling that she feels is not shared with her crimson eyed husband. And for that fact, she is jealous. He never wanted or thought of having children. Never, never, never. She finds him very lucky for that. Why can she not be like him? Why is she allowing herself to torture herself in this unachievable dream of hers?

Brick calls her a fool. An utter fool. A fool who wishes that she and he were never born ifrom science experiments. A fool who wishes giving birth over having powers. And she, Blossom Utoniom-Jojo, actually agrees with him.

She feels ashamed of herself as reluctance in returning the child to his mother consumes her for a moment.
