Katie Gardner was absolutely perfect,
She was everything he, a trouble causing miscreant, needed.
Compassionate, clever, patient and beautiful,
She could tame even the wild of souls; and he wasn't just referring to her garden.
Her laugh could make him smile when the world became somber and unfair,
Her warm arms embraced him like the sun's rays on an August afternoon,
But her smile; that was her best feature and was never absent.
She was the best thing that had ever happened to him.
Katie Gardner was perfect in every single way,
Which was why he had to say good-bye.
