Maka POV

Today is the day. I told my self. I am going to tell Soul how I feel.

I was walking towards my locker and around the corner I heard a voice. I looked to see who it was. Tears filled my eyes to hear and see what was happening. Soul was ASKING out a girl.

Tears threatened to flood my eyes.

I saw the girl smile. She hugged and kissed him.

Soul turned his head and saw me. His eyes widened. He started to walk towards me.

"Wait, Maka!"

"There is nothing to wait for. Goodbye Soul." I walked away quickly. His footsteps became quicker. I started to run.

"Maka, come back!" I ran through the maze of corridors and ran to one place no one would look for me, but I made sure Soul wasn't behind me. I couldn't hear his footsteps anymore, so I walked out Shibusen and into the forest next to it.

I walked through the forest and then I stopped at a tree. I stared at the treehouse Black*Star and I had built as kids. I went up the ladder. I peeked inside. Everything I had set up was still there.

I prepared the treehouse a little bit ago in case anything like this happened. I had a bookshelf filled with books, a pillow, a large stack of blankets, 7 different set of all types of clothes, a flashlight, and some fruits and sandwiches. I had planned everything weeks ahead, and if I need help, I told Tsubaki the whole plan.

This was where I was going to stay temporarily until I found a permanent place to stay.

I checked my watch to see what time it was. It was 4:13. I sighed, today was going to be a long day, so I decided to lay out the blankets and pillows and rest.

After putting my makeshift bed together, I laid down. I laid there, but then suddenly my phone rang.

I took it out of my pocket to see who it was. It was Soul. I stared at my phone until it stopped ringing. Then I laid there in silence listening to the breeze and the swaying of the trees.

I laid on the blankets and let sleep envelope me in its arms.

I didn't know how to end it, but I am feeling pretty confident about this story now. Sayonara for now! I hope you enjoyed it! Until next time.
