I thought that coming back to Hogsmeade, I would be able to do a little shopping and not see anyone from my past. Thinking that they had all moved on from this area, I guess I was wrong.
Thousands of people live in this town
And I have to run into him
When I saw him there on that busy street
Those feelings came back again
There was no where to run, no where to hide
He walked up to me, looked in my eyes
"Ginny, I never thought that I would see you around here, I thought that you moved to the United States. " Dean said.
"Oh you know me, I came back for a visit and thought that I would do a little shopping in the old stomping grounds. I didn't expect to see you though." She replied.

The world stood still

That's when he hugged me and said I've missed you
Dean smiled and said "Well after the war, the Headmistress asked me to come back and teach Ancient Runes at the school. So I have been here since then. What about you? What have you been up to lately?"
"Me oh you know, just putting my Auror skills to work in America. You know capture the bad guys and put them away. Hopeful for a long time." She laughed.
At that moment Padma Patil walked up to them.
That' when she walked up to him
He said this is my wife
I gave my best smile
But I was dieing inside
"Ginny! Oh my gosh what are you doing here. I have missed you so much." Padma exclaimed
"Just shopping and talking to Dean here." Ginny said
"Oh did he tell you, we got married a few years ago and are going to have a baby in the fall." Said Padma
Dean just smiled at the two women standing in front of him.
He said we gotta go now
It's getting late

"Well I had better get back to the castle, the evening feast is going to be soon and I have to put these things away. It was so go to see you Ginny, don't be a stranger when you come to town." Dean said as he hugged her and kissed her cheek.
Walking away from the happy couple, I started to notice that tears were forming in my eyes. I stopped and realized that I had made a mistake in breaking up with Dean in my 5th year at Hogwarts. I really did love him and I still love him now. But he has gone on with his life and married a girl just as smart as himself. Now all I need to do was get over what could have been and find my own Mr. Right.
