The rain felt nice.
It slicked down the midnight black hair. The wet strands swung in front of dull jade eyes.
The skin was pale; looking fragile under the light of the crescent moon. It was a stark contrast to the dark hair and clothes of the teen.
The rain pounded down on the lone figure sitting on the tower that night. It was Halloween.
*I'm sorry Tom. But this is better for us all.* the thoughts came, broadcasting through the link between the two ex-enemies.
*It doesn't need to be this way.* Tom Riddle sent back desperately, though his voice was strangely resigned. He'd known that this would come eventually.
The teen didn't respond; merely closing the link that he shared with his friend who'd once been an enemy.
He tilted his face back and the raindrops ran down the delicate features.
He pulled out a grey potion and gulped it down; he didn't want to feel the pain that would come.
It was so simple really, how he would die. The potion numbed him and would stop his heart if anyone tried to heal him, it would keep him from ever waking up again.
The Astronomy tower was the highest.
He stood slowly, wishing a last goodbye to this world; though it was mainly directed to his godfather and Tom. Then, he stepped of the edge of the tower and watched the ground rush up to meet him before everything turned black.
Harry James Potter, also known as Shade by the Death Eaters, was found dead November 1st during his fifth year at Hogwarts.
Voldemort won the war in England, but after that settled down and helped fix all the problems England had in its government. Sirius Black was made into the French ambassador, but once a year on Halloween he always visited where the last Potters were buried together.
