Oishi was not one to cry. He didn't cry in movies and he definitely didn't cry in front of anybody. There was one that he vowed never to cry in front of and that was Kikumaru Eiji. Eiji was his best friend and his doubles partner. He did not want him hinking of him as weak because he loved him. He loved him as more than a friend.

One day, outside the school after tennis practice, Oishi found Eiji on the front steps of the school. He looked a bit sad so Oishi asked him what was wrong. Eiji looked up to see his friend.

"Oh, nothing's wrong."

"It's not nothing. You know that I know that. You also know that you can tell me anything."

"Yeah but… I think… I'd like to sort this out myself, you know?"

"Okay. Whatever you like." Oishi started to walk away but Eiji stopped him.

"Let's walk home together."

"Alright."

As they walked, Eiji started to daydream and as he did, his hand slipped into Oishi's. Oishi stiffened but then relaxed. Eiji always did this when he was thinking really hard about something. Now Oishi thought about him differently, it meant something different. Then Eiji stopped. He stopped walking. Oishi was also halted from his daze when he felt a tug at his arm. He turned to look at Eiji.

"I… you know that I love you, yeah?"

"Of course,"

"Well I…"

Eiji couldn't continue after that. He threw himself at Oishi and kissed him, full on the lips. Oishi was very surprised but he melted at Eiji's touch. He knew that Eiji meant it so he didn't pull away. After that, Eiji pulled away and said; "I need you as more than a friend. Will you be my boyfriend?"

"I will, Eiji."

And so they walked away holding hands, to wherever their feet took them.
