A day in May
Not so long ago
We all tuned in to see
What the OC was to show
It was said someone would die
And not make it through the night
I hoped and I prayed all episode long
That Ryan and Marissa would be alright
There was a graduation
And it was decided Kaitlin would stay
It all wrapped up to be
One heck of a day
Marissa was sailing away
Ryan was in trouble again
Marissa decided to help
And became one hell of a friend
Seth and Summer were happy
But really when are they not?
And they went to the Model Home
Which was once an empty lot
They played together for a while
The Marissa had to catch a plane
If only they knew
They were in for a lot of pain
Ryan started driving
When suddenly they see
A person following them
Drunk as can be
It was revealed to be Volchok
It was the beginning of the end
How can I explain this moment
To you my friend?
Volchok rammed them pretty hard
Ryan lost control of the car
They rolled over into a bunch of trees
Ouch, I bet that left a scar
So Ryan gets Marissa out
And carries her till he has to stop
She begs him to stay and dies
Ryan sheds his first tear drop
We were all pretty devastated
We cried all night long
Why did it have to end this way
This is just so wrong!
The show is now really over
The tears have been shed
There's one last thing I must say
About thoughts of Marissa being dead
She gave us three years
Of lots of drama and fun
I liked her a lot
But she wasn't liked by everyone
But it's bee a year
And everyone remembers today
Of the day the wonderful Marissa died
