A Celebraton
The power was back on and it was time to celebrate. As they were all gathered around in the bullpen drinking egg nog. Callen had already left but everyone else was still there celebrating. Mosely was looking around at everyone when she realized something was missing. It clicked, something Sam had said earlier.
"Beale you mind putting on some music."
"Sure." Eric replied running to hook his phone up to some speakers.
"Not your Mannheim Steamroller playlist Eric," groaned Sam.
"What's so bad about Mannheim Steamroller," Nell queried. "I like their Christmas music."
"Same here," chimed in Deeks.
"Gets you in the spirit," replied Kensi.
"I would have to agree," said Hidoko.
"Hey I saw their Christmas concert a couple of years back. It's really good music." Nell was saying to no one in particular.
"I've been wanting to see that," spoke up Kensi. "Deeks what about you?"
"I'd go if your going."
Celebration came over the speakers.
"Oh, I like that song," Nell said with a smile.
"I'm outta here," Sam said finishing his egg nog and headed to grab his gear. "I've been hearing that all day in the car. I'm done."
Mosely who was up in her office looking at a picture of her family had a smile on her face. The music that could be heard was comforting and she was enjoying it too despite Hanna's complaints about Eric's playlist.
The Party was in full swing when A Little Drummer Boy began to play as everyone in the building joined in on the celebration.
Sam had driven to his boat to finish getting everything ready for Christmas with his kids and thinking of Michelle at the same time. If Michelle were here she would be scolding him for his lack of Christmas spirit if she found out he was complaining about Eric's playlist. But Michelle had several of Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas albums on her phone and he still held onto it. He scrolled through the Christmas playlist on her phone and saw that she had a variety of Artists not just Mannheim Steamroller. He settled on Bing Crosby and hit play as the music began to fill the room. Maybe he shouldn't have been so hard on Eric about his choice of music. One day he'll make it up to him. Maybe a Mannheim Steamroller Christmas concert for the techies. The idea brought a smile to his face.
Merry Christma, Y'all!
Nessa
