Poke Quest: The Future Chronicles
The year is 3001, 1000 years after the beginning of the ongoing intergalactic war.
It is a dark time on planet Earth because of the evil Team Rocket members, who no longer
steal Pokemon but kill them for their mystical qualities. Ash's Pikachu is one of the two
last pokemon left in the galaxy. It has been granted eternal life and can only die in
combat. Its owner, Ashrin, is Ash's farthest descendant and is the only person Pikachu will
talk to. Recently Pikachu has become a pokemon of the Dark Heroes. The DH's are a new breed
of heroes who recruit anyone with a pokemon and teach him or her the Dark Arts and how to
use them for good. Pikachu has become Shadow Pikachu, a pokemon who can transform into a
blade of pure Dark energy and a Dark Matter shield. Now it shoots Dark electricity, the same
properties as normal electricity, except it can tear apart a weak mind and leave the enemy
scared and defenseless. Obviously the DHs are not very merciful people because of the Dark
training. The only other pokemon left is Misty's (name coming from all her parents and
grandparents etc., all named Misty) Eternal Pikachu of Light, also known as Divine Pikachu.
As Ashrin was hunting a recent space pirate for extra cash, he met Misty and her DP,
he knew a light trainer when he saw one so he immediately told SP to go into sword combat
mode. Misty did the same with DP except the blade glowed a bright holy white, while Ashrin's
was the dark color of a black hole. "Now you will die you pitiful excuse for a warrior." Was
all Ashrin said. Misty countered with "Evil gets you nowhere, even if you use it for good."
"It's been so long since I had a Pokebattle, considering those idiotic TR mercenaries have
killed all the other pokemon in the world." Suddenly Ashrin attacked, thrusting his dark
sword at Misty, and giving her a small cut on the arm. "You will pay for that Dark Warrior."
Misty said. She threw her sword at him and knocked Ashrin's sword out of his hand. They
ended up swordless so they decided they would have a real Pokebattle, with Pokemon, not
swords. Dark Pikachu hissed ferociously while Divine Pikachu just sat there, waiting for
DP to attack him.
