Regina had been off work for a while now, her husband had been covering her since her fatal back injury. He had been doing really well on his own. Regina would sometimes do paperwork or watch CCTV cameras but she hadn't been on a field mission in weeks. She loved the adventure and the blood rush of excitement running through her veins.
Over the last few weeks, while Regina was off, Robin had been coping really well, but one day he was called into the Headquarters when it was announced to him that his next field mission he needed a partner, but since Regina wasn't well enough, they had to call in someone else. When he was told their name, all worries came shooting back at him.
When he returned home that night he was still trying to get through his head who he was gpong to be working with for a while. Regina wasn't going to be happy tha someone was covering for her, especially when he found out who.
"What?!" Regina asked with a strong demanding voice.
"It's okay, it's only for this field mission and you will be back soon, better than ever."
"But Robin, this is your ex wife we are talking about, the one who tried to kill me because he was jealous of us!" Regina was infuriated.
"I know this seems bad babe but, nothing is going to happen, I promise. And remember, this time next week, we will have been married for a year."
"Very true. I suppose I shouldn't be worried, as long as you wear that wedding ring, you will always be mine."
"I promise, I will always be yours and not even an ex wife can stop that, not even Marian."
