Trouble

Ty Lee is trouble, Ty Lee is a bad influence, Ty Lee is probably not the right kind of friend for the princess. She also is not the right kind of girlfriend for a princess. Ozai's speech could be summarized in those two sentences, and Azula obediently listens to it, of course, but she is an adolescent and as in love as an adolescent can be.
"I know, father," Azula says at appropriate intervals.
She has never disobeyed him, except to sneak out with Ty Lee that night.
That night, Azula wonders if she has a secret taste for trouble.
