"Buttercup…"
The green puff could feel her sister's disapproving eyes resting on her back. She ignored the uneasy feeling and her other sister's shrieking wails.
"That really wasn't nice…" Blossom continued, folding her arms and glancing back and forth between her sisters.
Buttercup grumbled to herself as the leader grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into the hall after telling Bubbles they'd be right back. She refused to look Blossom in the eye, as arrogant as she could be, that stern look always gave her just the slightest taste of guilt.
"That bear was Bubbles' brand new toy, it was…you know, and addition to her 'family'. And you losing your head…again… wasn't right."
The green puff could feel her cheeks grow red and warm. She still refused to look her sister in the eye, but forced herself to say something, or matters would only worsen.
"I told Bubbles I was watching TV first! But she just changed the channel, because her 'friends' wanted to watch some stupid baby show! Those animals aren't her friends! They're stuffed toys!"
Seeing Blossom huff and then suddenly smile made Buttercup's heart skip a beat. She leaned away as her sister moved closer and began whispering. After a minute, she pulled back away, leaving her sister wide eyed and dumbstruck.
"Blossom I would rather tear out my s-."
"Just do it!"
Buttercup was wondering what was making her do this. It was unreasonable and if anyone took pictures she'd break their backbone in half. She couldn't bear to look at herself in the mirror and procrastinated for several minutes before opening the door to her bedroom.
Bubbles turned around, her eyes still rather wet, but they immediately grew wide. Her sister winced and waited for some one to speak, she had no idea what to say, it was better to let the blue puff do the talking.
"B- Buttercup…is that you?" she sniffled, as it was not everyday she saw her sister in a teddy bear suit complete with round ears and a tail.
The green puff nodded grimly. There was more awkward silence before it was clear Bubbles was too shocked to speak.
"Blossom told me that ripping you bear in half was very mean, and that I should make it up to you. So…I'll be your…t-teddy for the evening."
She barely got through with the last word when her sister embraced her with a passionate hug. Figuring it was the best to do, she returned it. Bubbles pulled away, giggling wildly.
"I know why you did this!"
"Why?"
"You did it for me, only me! Because you love me!"
