BECAUSE OF THE FOREST
There was something lurking in the Forbidden Forest. Something that the students and
teachers had no idea about. And it was dangerous. Hagrid, the Care of Magical Creatures teacher
at Hogwarts, had planned a lesson in the forest, not knowing what lurked there.
He had Harry and Ron help him in the lesson. The lesson was in the evening when the sun was
just setting. Hermione had no idea what so ever what it was, but she knew that was ever it was
lurking in the Forbidden Forest.
For the first time in her acedemic life, she faked sick to stay back from the lesson. She
tried to convince Ron and Harry not to go as well, but they were to anxious to participate to
listen to her. She had heard howling and had seen something run out of the forest in the middle
of the night. Not that she was doing anything...um...to your concern outside in the middle of the
night with Seamus Finnigan...nevermind. Back to the story.
She had suspected something was going on because Snape was acting weirder than usual.
Not that she had been paying attention but it was very noticeable. It was like something or
someone had threatened him like they were going to kill him or someone he was close to doubtful
that he was close to any one but still he was acting that way.
