Introduction
The 11th Doctor and Clara are travelling when there blast in the control room. River Song appears but how is she there and not stuck in the Library Data Core? And what secrets does she hide. Can the Doctor convince her he still loves her?
Chapter .1.
"So where are we going?" Clara asks
"I don't know. Maybe we should set the TARDIS on random?" The Eleventh Doctor asks
"Random is fin…", Clara says cut off
A ball of electricity and a woman appears.
"Hello Sweetie"
"River?" the Eleventh Doctor asks shocked
"Yes Sweetie. Hello Clara", River says
"You can't be alive. I saw you die", the Eleventh Doctor says
"Did you see a body?" River asks
"No. But…", the Eleventh Doctor says
"No buts sweetie. Kiss me I have waited a long time and so have you", River says
The Eleventh Doctor takes her into his arms and kisses her passionately.
"I missed you", the Doctor says
"I missed you too. How are you Clara?" River asks
"Fine. Why?" Clara asks
"Doctor remember that time in…", River starts
"Yes", the Doctor says
"Well I became pregnant. Clara is our daughter. I had the Oswald's take her in. As long as they got her no medical checks", River says
Clara and the Doctor where speechless.
"She has two hearts have since she was born. How else did you think she would survive going into your time stream?" River asks
"Can we make sure?" Clara asks
"If you want. But the Doctor can tell you with his sonic. Now he knows the sonic will tell him the truth", River says
The Doctor takes out his sonic screwdriver.
"Clara do you what me too?" the Doctor asks
"Yes I need to know", Clara says
The Doctor points the sonic at Clara and it analyses.
"It is true your part Time Lady", the Doctor says
"Well this is a shock. I need time to think this out", Clara says
"Of course. Sorry I dropped this on you", River says
"No it is fine. Explains a lot", Clara says
"Clara we will be going to the library to see what really happened to River. You just stay in the TARDIS and you will be safe", the Doctor says
"Ok. I will just go and lay down in my room. If the TARDIS hasn't deleted it", Clara says
"Give Clara back her room please", River says to the TARDIS
"Thanks River. I will get going. Be safe", Clara says
"We will", the Doctor says
"So River anymore surprises for me?" the Doctor asks piloting the TARDIS
"Many. But lets handle one at a time", River says, "Sweetie you have the breaks on"
"I always have the breaks on", the Doctor whines
"We want to come in quietly Sweetie. Here let me fly her", River says taking control
"She is my TARDIS", the Doctor grumbles
"Of course she is. She just likes me more", River says mildly packing the TARDIS
"Ok we have to be careful not to run into our past selves", the Doctor says shutting the TARDIS
"I know the rules Sweetie. Now come on", River says
River and the Doctor follow their past selves. When they saw someone watching their past selves also.
"That is Clara", the Doctor whisperers, "One of her echo's"
"Wonder what she is doing here?" River asks
"They are going down to the basement. Clara is following them", the Doctor says
"Let's go", River says
The reach the basement as River handcuffs the 10th Doctor to a pipe.
"Sorry my love", past River says
They watch as the Tenth Doctor begs River to stop. Eleventh has tears in his eyes. When tenth doctor leaves the see the current Doctor and River see Clara step out from behind past River.
"I don't know if you can hear this River. But you are not dead. Your brain is just a bit scrambled but I took must of the electricity it will kill me in 5 hours. But with me it doesn't matter I am just an echo. I aimed for this memory when I went into the Doctors timeline. I know how much your death hurt him. I leave you a letter. It is a letter to give to the Doctor when you fine him. Just explains how he can get your parents back. I know how much that hurt him too. Now I better take you to the best hospital in the Universe. From there I can died in peace knowing I saved you for the Doctor. I may have been born to save the Doctor but saving the Doctor is also saving those close to him. So be there for him River. Now let's get out of here before we are caught", Clara says taking River's hand and disappearing
"Remind me to thank Clara", the Doctor croaks
"I will thank her too. I have the letter. You can read it when we are back in the TARDIS", River says
They walk back to the TARDIS in quiet thinking about what happened. Had Clara been in pain in her death in that life? There was no way to tell or ask unless the original Clara remembers.
"I will put the TARDIS into the Vortex. While you read the letter", River says giving him the letter
River's phone then rings.
"River Song", River says
River begins whispering into the phone. Then hangs up looking slightly upset.
"River is there something your keeping from me?" the Doctor asks
"I will tell you later Sweetie just read the letter. By the way where does Martha live?" River asks
"Why?" the Doctor asks
"I just need to speak to her", River says
"The TARDIS will know where to go", the Doctor says
"Ok. Thank you. Now read your letter. I am going to talk to Martha when I land the TARDIS", River says
"Ok. Are you sure you are alright?" the Doctor asks
"I will be", River says, "Maybe"
The Doctor doesn't hear her say 'maybe'. He was now reading the letter from the echo of Clara his daughter…
