The Broken Boy – A Poem of Draco Malfoy
oOo
The moonlight shines so brightly,
And filters through the blinds;
Casting rays upon the broken boy
Who cries on sleepless nights.
For in the day he'll smile,
And tell you that he's fine;
Did you believe this cover-up?
Did you fall for his disguise?
The dark magic fills him,
From the image on his arm,
That screams 'I exist to hurt you,
I'm here to cause you harm'.
He knows that they won't understand;
Perhaps it's too late now,
For anyone to save him
From this hell in which he's bound.
So when it's dark his tears will fall,
In the night he can let go;
He doesn't need to play it up,
Or put on a show.
He'll continue to live in the shadows,
In the misery, fear, and pain;
For no one can make him whole again,
He will never be the same…
oOo
And all the little brilliant things
That I try hard to be;
They're not really who I am.
It isn't really me.
Where have the simple days gone to?
When I used to just be free?
Now I'm hiding in the shadows;
Afraid of being me.
I wanted to try something different, and here's what I came up with. I hope you enjoyed this bit of poetry I created about Draco Malfoy! I think it describes him pretty well, what do you think? I would appreciate your feedback, so please review! Thanks! ^ 3^
