Prologue: I Forgot to Tell You?
A beautiful girl with purple streaked hair and emerald eyes was sitting next to a lake, fingers barely brushing the water. She watched the rippling water, thinking over things that have happened since she first moved from Japan. That's all she's has been thinking of in the last several months, it was starting to feel like she never lived a "normal" life. She sighed, and wrapped her arms around her knees. Slowly, the water stopped its rippling effect.
"Sakura, what are you doing here?" questioned a feminine voice behind her. Sakura whipped around and continued to breathe after seeing that it was just Tomoyo. She then gave Tomoyo a smile.
"I was just thinking about how all this started. It was so surreal….like as if our lives before all this happened….all of it…was just a dream…and we're only starting to wake up from the most wonderful dream, just to be knocked out into the worst nightmare…" Sakura spoke, looking deep into the watery abyss beside her.
Tomoyo sat down beside her favorite brunette. She took out her infamous camera, and turned it on. Sakura started blushing as soon as she noticed the camera was pointed to her. "Sakura, how do you like your role as a protector slash savior to this world?" Tomoyo asked, mocking a reporter perfectly.
Sakura laughed nervously, "Well, I guess it doesn't really matter if I like it or not. However," Sakura's eyes began to have this completely serious look. "I will protect and save this world, no matter what. It's my fault this world is in danger, and I intend to fix my mistake."
Tomoyo frowned and turned off her camera, putting it away. "Sakura, when did all this start?" Sakura blushed, realizing she had just leaked out something she had been trying to keep a secret for so long. Tomoyo tried to give Sakura a stern look, but couldn't hold it for more than a second before asking again. "Sakura, please tell me. It'll pass the time until the boys come back."
Sakura sighed. They had barely been a day in this world and already the boys were missing and the secret that she had started this adventure, albeit unintentionally, was about to be completely discovered by Tomoyo. Would Tomoyo still care for her like she used to, would Syaoran, and Eriol? She looked up at Tomoyo. "There isn't an exact starting point….but I know that it doesn't start before we all signed a contract dealing with our inheritance."
Tomoyo nodded. "Why don't we start there?"
Sakura took a deep breath and started telling the story. As she did so, there was a movement in the trees, but neither of the girls noticed.
AN: Over twice as long as the previous Prolouge, word wise, so I consider this a slight improvement. Ugh! Crystal is undergoing a massive revision as a lot of you can tell by looking at the original version. There are going to be a lot of things added and removed, for example Chapter 1 from the original story will not exist in this copy, but an important piece of information and probably plot will.
