Author's Note: Alrighty, so this is a short (and lets be frank, terrible) poem based on New Moon - more specifically, how Edward felt without Bella. While we only received small glimpses of Edward's feelings during this novel, I tried to imagine then when writing this poem. I wrote this in about 10 minutes, and yes, I am aware how utterly pathetic it is. I hope you all don't hate it as much as I do. :D Thanks for reading! Be sure to check out my other pieces and to R/R!

Love to the readers! It means so much to me.

-LoveWillFindYou

I live in infinite

Damned for my remainder

I was saved once

An angel – she beckoned to me

She took me, despite all else

Her sweetness breathed life into the lifeless

Her scent awakened me from my eternal slumber

A dream for those rendered dreamless

But the fool

I left

Her wounded count'ance seared into my mind

To give her everything

I forfeit my world

She the sun, I in orbit

Now, without the sun

I am left in darkness to

Drowning in an eternity of shadows

Without an angel for guidance
