"Huh?"
"What Happened?"
"Where am I?"
"Where is this place?"
I pressed the "w" key.
I slowly realized I was stranded.
Stranded here, on this uninhabited island, alone.
Maybe not so alone, I thought, hearing footsteps.
Preparing myself, I turned the mouse facing the sound.
It was a ZOMBIE! I clicked repeatedly in self defense.
After I did a considerable amount of damage, the zombie died.
I was walking in circles with the "w, a, s, d" keys.
I needed to survive. But how? Perhaps I should press the "e" key.
An inventory opened up, and I got my very first achievement, "Taking Inventory"! Hooray!
Realizing that I now had some Rotten Flesh in my hotbar, I ate it up.
I suddenly felt really weird. Opening up my inventory again, I realized I had "hunger" effect.
Must be a side effect of eating the rotten flesh. Still, it had filled some hunger bars.
Deciding to actually do something constructive, I punched a tree. After a while, some oak wood popped out.
Oh. Wow. I got another achievement. It was "Getting Wood". This achievement thing was starting to get really weird.
Wondering if there were other achievements, I opened up the achievements menu after pressing the "escape" button on the keyboard.
It seems like had to craft a crafting bench. Opening up the inventory, I placed oak wood in the crafting slots.
In the output slot, oak wood planks appeared. Grabbing them, I filled the crafting slots with the planks, crafting the crafting bench.
Another achievement. Wow. I was getting addicted to those achievements. Just then, I realized that I always seemed to know what to do.
What? Since waking up on this weird island, I had no memories of anything. How did I know what I was supposed to do?
The realization I had made was slowly creeping me out. Deciding not to dwell on it any longer, I continued punching trees to get wood.
After getting enough wood to build a house, I went in search for a suitable location. That was when I stumbled upon a large sized village.
What luck, I thought to myself. I went into each house, meeting villagers as I went along. Upon right clicking them, I was allowed to trade emeralds.
Not having any emerald, I decided to leave the village after breaking and taking their torches and their torch posts, which were made of fences and black wool.
I suddenly felt the urge to pause my life for a moment. Pressing the escape key, I found a disconnect button. I clicked on it. Every thing went black.
Author's Note: Dear all. I hope that at this point you are feeling warm and fuzzy about my story, because of all the great things that the main character did.
Everything came back to life. The screen was no longer black. Although my movement was still a lagging, it was probably due to my world being started again. I was back.
As I looked around, I realized that the sky was getting dark. Using my crafting bench, I crafted a bed with the black wool and some wooden planks. I slept on it.
Just a few seconds and I am back awake, facing the bright day. Knowing that more monsters spawned during the night, I was glad that I chose to make a bed and sleep.
Once again, I realized that my knowledge was helping me. How was that even possible? Perhaps I was suffering from Amnesia... Yup. Amnesia. Must be the case. Selective memory. Problem solved, and case closed.
And so I reassured myself with that comforting conclusion. Temporary conclusion. Temporary theory. Possible theory. Possibility. Wow. Not feeling so reassured anymore. Suddenly, I turned red, and my hearts decreased. Swirling around, I saw nothing.
Strange. Where could it have gone? It had just hit me a moment ago, meaning it couldn't be too far. Suddenly, I was hit again. Losing more hearts, I felt like I was going to die.
